Description:Jaimie Alexander, who played Valkyrie in Thor: Love and Thunder, has expressed interest in developing a series about the Asgardian warrior Beta Ray Bill within the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Jaimie Alexander, who played Valkyrie in Thor: Love and Thunder, has expressed interest in a Lady Sif spinoff starring Beta Ray Bill.
Lady Sif, a creation of Stan Lee and Jack Kirby, debuted in Marvel comics in the 1960s. Sif was one of Asgard’s fiercest warriors and was often seen alongside Thor in the comics.
Sif was a popular Marvel character who went on to star in movies, TV shows, and video games. Alexander’s portrayal of the character debuted in the 2011 film Thor as part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
In the MCU, Alexander has played Lady Sif ever since Thor. She returned to the role in Thor: The Dark World, and also appeared briefly in Agents of SHIELD episodes 1 and 2, and the first season of Loki, in which Loki met Sif in a memory loop.
Alexander also provided the voice of Sif in two episodes of the MCU animated series What if…? Sif will presumably make another appearance in the July 8th release of Thor: Love and Thunder, in which she is cast.
Since Sif has been a part of the MCU for so long, it’s only fair that she get her own TV series, as Alexander has recently expressed.
Alexander made a social media post proposing a Sif TV show. The actress from Thor: Love and Thunder posted a photo to Instagram in which she expressed her desire to see Sif and Beta Ray Bill together in the event that the Asgardian warrior received her own television series.
Alexander shared a number of images on social media featuring Sif and Beta Ray Bill from comics, art, and animation, and he even tagged Bill’s creator, Walter Simonson.
